This Design Drafter position develops concept designs and works with the Design Engineers to create drawings, maintain documentation, and a variety of project related activities throughout the designing process. Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Pay: Base on experience Ready to turn your creativity into something real (and yes, we mean thermoformed real)? Requirements
- Highly organized
- Strong attention to detail
- 1+ year in Engineering role
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Manufacturing - preferred
Responsibilities
- Develops Concept designs for new project opportunities
- Gathers tooling quotes as needed using conceptual models and drawings
- Creates and updates 2D part and assembly drawings
- Conducts design reviews
- Loads/links documentation to Allied Home
- Assist with revisions to methods and ECR as per production’s changes
- Assists the engineers with packaging, assembly, prototype rework, etc.
- Provides assistance as needed to shop floor on secondary work
- Other related duties as needed
