This Design Drafter position develops concept designs and works with the Design Engineers to create drawings, maintain documentation, and a variety of project related activities throughout the designing process. Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Pay: Base on experience Ready to turn your creativity into something real (and yes, we mean thermoformed real)? Requirements

  • Highly organized
  • Strong attention to detail
  • 1+ year in Engineering role
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Manufacturing - preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develops Concept designs for new project opportunities
  • Gathers tooling quotes as needed using conceptual models and drawings
  • Creates and updates 2D part and assembly drawings
  • Conducts design reviews
  • Loads/links documentation to Allied Home
  • Assist with revisions to methods and ECR as per production’s changes
  • Assists the engineers with packaging, assembly, prototype rework, etc.
  • Provides assistance as needed to shop floor on secondary work
  • Other related duties as needed
