About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Design & Construction team. This internship offers hands-on experience in retail expansion strategy, Design, and construction project coordination. The ideal candidate will support initiatives that drive growth and corporate projects while gaining exposure to real estate, design, planning, permitting, and construction management.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Design or, Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Ensures compliance with the L.L.Bean Comprehensive Health and Safety program by knowing and following all safety guidelines, policies, procedures and expectations.â Take immediate and appropriate action to rectify any unsafe conditions.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in the adobe suite preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in design projects including architecture, interior design, and presentations.
Collaborate with construction project managers to track timelines and deliverables for active projects.
Help coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and consultants to ensure project milestones are met.
Participate in site visits and inspections to understand construction progress and challenges.
Contribute to cross-functional meetings with teams such as Legal, Finance, and Store Operations.
