Assisting buyers with making selections to customize their home Ensure that homebuyer(s) is aware of all options available Entering customer information/selections into computer systems Advise customers on interior design features (with respect to color, functionality, budget) Provide complete product information detailing performance, durability, and maintenance of homebuyer(s) selections Manage distribution of design center paperwork Communicate with Sales, Purchasing, Homeowners and Trades as required to successfully execute the homebuilding process Is knowledgeable and able to communicate the design center experience and the overall new home buying experience Other duties as assigned or expected

Requirements

High School Diploma
2 years Collegiate Coursework preferred
Excellent customer service skills
Willingness to learn and adapt
Detail oriented, self-disciplined, and organized with excellent follow-up
Ability to deal with conflict & set expectations
Great listening skills and creative problem solving with the ability to find the root cause, as well as a solution
Must be a team-player with an enthusiastic attitude
Effective communication skills and a sense of urgency
High level of integrity
Good time management skills
Strong interpersonal skills with attention to detail

Able to establish priorities and meet deadlines

Must have ability to read and understand architectural and structural blueprints
Financial knowledge as it relates to residential mortgage loans

Nice To Haves

Prior design related experience with a production homebuilder a plus; not required

Responsibilities

Assisting buyers with making selections to customize their home
