Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA for this position at this time Our Purpose: Partner with Design Assurance and R&D Engineers and Technicians in the development and verification of Medical Single Use Devices and/or Medical Capital Equipment. This individual will work with high-performance cross-functional development teams to assist in verification of product conformance, design control deliverables, and risk management activities within Peripheral Interventions to ensure delivery of the highest quality product to the customer. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Biomedical engineering, Mechanical engineering, Materials engineering, or Chemical engineering.
  • Must graduate between Fall 2026 and Spring 2028.
  • Must have at least one semester of school left post-internship.
  • Must be able to commit to one of the following full internship program periods: May 18th – August 7th OR May 26th – August 14th.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the Maple Grove, MN Boston Scientific Corporate location.
  • Experience with owning and executing an engineering design project with direct output.

Responsibilities

  • Help develop risk-based assessments related to design changes
