About The Position

Under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse, provides patient care to dermatology patients. Provides support to the patient care team under appropriate supervision as outlined by applicable rules and regulations. Performs routine dermatology procedures medical assistant support, including assisting providers in dermatological surgical procedures, medical documentation (scribing) and providing education to patients and families. Maintains stock of dermatology equipment and supplies. Participates in departmental quality assurance/quality improvement initiatives. Maintains stock of dermatology equipment and supplies.
