Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; medical office administration certification is a plus.
  • Experience in a medical receptionist or front office role preferred, particularly in dermatology or healthcare settings.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients.
  • Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of insurance processes is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general office software.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a patient-centered attitude to create a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Manage phone calls and respond to patient questions regarding appointments and services.
  • Schedule patient appointments and coordinate follow-up visits with precision.
  • Collect and validate patient information, including insurance coverage and contact details.
  • Maintain a neat and organized reception area to enhance patient comfort.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and ensuring patient records are accurate and up to date.
  • Assist in collaboration with clinical staff to streamline patient flow and improve overall office efficiency.
