Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical environment is desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, particularly in the field of dermatology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient engagement.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information professionally.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software is advantageous.

Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and accurately recording medical histories.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring that necessary instruments and equipment are available and ready to use.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and manage specimen preparation for analysis.
- Maintain thorough and confidential patient records, adhering to all privacy regulations.
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate office communications for efficiency.
- Educate patients about their treatment plans, medications, and effective skincare practices.
- Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and well-stocked with medical supplies.
- May participate in supporting the clinic’s social media presence, including gathering content, sharing clinic-approved updates, and assisting with community engagement efforts as directed
