About The Position
Davis County Sheriff's Office is looking to hire full-time Deputies which may include assignments in Patrol and Corrections. Are you wanting a career in law enforcement ? Requirements
- No experience necessary!
- At least 21 years old for LEO(Law Enforcement Officer)
- At least 19 years old for SFO(Special Functions Officer) and/or BCO(Basic Correctional Officer.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be either a United States citizen; or a lawful resident of the United States who has been in the United States legally for at least five years; and has legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Must pass a Davis County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) background investigation, including an eye detect test.
- 21 pushups no time limit
- 29 sit ups in 1 minute or less (substitute for sit ups is high plank for 1.5 minutes)
- 13 inch vertical jump(3 attempts)
- 1.5 mile run in 16 minutes or less.
Nice To Haves
- Preference for applicants with active Utah POST certification - SFO/LEO/BCO
- Preference for bilingual skills in Spanish.
