GRADE 9909 LOCATION OF POSITION Baltimore City 6776 Reisterstown Road Baltimore, MD This position serves as a critical member of the Department's Executive Leadership team, reporting directly to the Secretary. The incumbent provides strategic oversight and executive direction for correctional operations housing approximately 18,000 incarcerated individuals and a community supervision network encompassing 43 field offices and 59,000 offenders. The scope of this role includes comprehensive management of Security Operations, Correctional food services, and Capital Programs and Facility Maintenance. Furthermore, the position directs Property and Fleet Management, Environmental and Emergency Management, and the Maryland Transportation Unit (MTU), ensuring the safety, sustainability, and logistical integrity of the Department’s 8,000+ staff and sprawling infrastructure.
