Raytheon - Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) is seeking a Deputy Program Manager (DPM) to partner with the Program Manager (PM) to manage the financial baseline, oversee daily execution, and promote continuous improvements . This position is an opportunity to gain valuable experience managing an important program for our Prime and government partner/end user, as well as gain visibility with RTX senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience (to include: business/program management, finance, political science, etc)
  • Experience with Earned Value Management
  • Risk & Opportunity experience
  • Experience with program Estimate at Completions (EACs)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Responsibilities

  • Support the team in meeting program financial goals and customer requirements and expectations
  • Manage program execution, ongoing review of program metrics, and development and execution of corrective action plans to mitigate impact of internal and external issues
  • Manage program risks and opportunities
  • Build solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Have accountability for performance of the assigned contracts and tasks
  • Travel to domestic sites as needed
