As part of our integrated product team leadership team, you'll immerse yourself in the intricacies of Strategic Nuclear Deterrence, bringing your acumen to the forefront of innovation and ensuring the efficacy and security of systems that are vital to national defense. We are seeking a detail‑oriented deputy Integrated Product Team Lead (dIPTL) to oversee project controls for a key and strategic Strategic Defense Services program. The primary responsibility of the dIPTL will be to oversee Control Account Manager (CAM) elements: cost, schedule, and technical performance for various cost accounts in support of a large development effort. This technical role manages planning, budgeting, and tracking activities, ensuring alignment with program objectives and Earned Value Management (EVM) requirements.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • At least 5 years, previous professional experience in accounting, finance, earned value, and/or working as a Control Account Manager (CAM).
  • Previous experience working with Systems or Hardware engineering.
  • Experience working in MS Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cross functional (hardware, software, systems, and specialty) engineering development.
  • Exposure to technical product development, qualification, and integration of US DoD products.
  • Experience with technical management of multiple large-scale projects, or portfolio of projects up to a large independent program
  • Experience developing and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in MS Project
  • Demonstrated experience with the JIRA application tool
  • Experience in Agile development methods, including Scrum, automated testing, and continuous integration preferred
  • Previous professional background in engineering development lifecycle models and processes for department of defense contracts

Responsibilities

  • As part of the project leadership team, you will collaborate directly with IPTL to create and manage plans development teams using EVMS and IMS to track program execution
  • You will be responsible for producing quantifiable metrics for your control accounts
  • You will manage your team’s technical control tower and present progress to program and organizational leadership
  • You will remain abreast of the program’s technical progress, and demonstrate the ability to track, understand, and communicate technical elements to company and government stakeholders
  • You will build and improve Control Account Manager (CAM) processes to produce consistently accurate earned value reporting
  • You will work closely with discipline and program leaders to manage the staffing outlook
  • Coordinate with engineering, finance, and scheduling teams to validate progress and manage risks.
  • You will provide Jira support and/or scrum master support for agile teams as needed
