Who We Are The Mission of the Denver District Attorney's Office is to professionally and competently prosecute crimes and investigate criminal activity on behalf of the people of the State of Colorado and to seek equal justice for all in the criminal justice system. Our mission also includes the prevention and deterrence of crimes, supporting the well-being of victims, participating in the community, being transparent and accountable, and, improving the criminal justice system to provide fair alternatives to incarceration in appropriate cases. What You'll Do As the Deputy District Attorney duties will include: Managing a Domestic Violence docket within the Domestic Violence Unit and meeting with survivors and family members Appearing in court on assigned docket days, partnering with community agencies, the Denver Police Department, and other criminal justice agencies to successfully serve survivors and build criminal cases Assisting victims of domestic violence and their families through the criminal justice system Performing other duties as assigned or requested by the District Attorney What You'll Bring Our ideal candidate will have no more than a total of ten (10) years of Attorney experience.
