About The Position
The City of Lebanon is seeking applicants for the position of Deputy Director of Electrical Engineering. While education and experience are important, the City of Lebanon is most interested in recruiting a candidate to this position that possesses a unique blend of relevant knowledge and outstanding customer relationship skills. The Deputy Director of Electrical Engineering will serve as a critical member of the Lebanon Electric Department and the City Management Team. Qualified candidates should hold a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering through an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology accredited university, at least five years of documented electrical utility experience in either the public or private sector, possess a valid State of Ohio Driver’s License, and have outstanding communication and public service skills. Engineering Intern (EI or EIT) professional certification is preferred.
Requirements

- Possess a valid State of Ohio Driver’s License

Benefits
- Salary range of $140,000 to $170,000, depending on qualifications
- Enrollment in the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System with a 14 percent contribution by the City of Lebanon and 10 percent by employee, with additional deferred compensation available
- Probationary period of six months
