Cook County Bureau of Human Resources is seeking an experienced Deputy Director, HR responsible for supporting senior leadership in managing daily Human Resources (HR) operations, including workforce development, training, compliance, HR technology, leave management, and cross-functional collaboration. The role provides confidential consultation to leadership and works closely with HR teams to assist with policy development, identify organization-wide training needs, and analyze HR metrics. Additional responsibilities include fostering a positive work culture and overseeing administrative tasks such as maintaining accurate employee records.
