The Bronx County District Attorney's Office seeks a seasoned leader with broad experience to serve the diverse community of over 1.4 million Bronx residents and to promote a safer borough by "Pursuing Justice with Integrity." The Conviction Integrity Bureau seeks an experienced attorney with ten plus years of experience to serve as the Deputy Bureau Chief. The primary focus of the Conviction Integrity Bureau is to investigate claims of actual innocence and wrongful conviction and to identify potential systemic issues. The Assistant District Attorneys in the Bureau also review clemency petitions and Domestic Violence Survivor Justice Act (DVSJA) post-conviction motions for resentencing, and lead trainings on best practices to avoid wrongful convictions. The Deputy Bureau Chief will report directly to the Bureau Chief and play a key leadership role in supervising and managing staff and all aspect of the Bureau's work. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader who can balance legal and investigative skills with the ability to mentor staff, streamline processes, and build a culture that aligns with DA Clark's vision of justice with integrity.
