The Systems Engineering and Test Center's Life Cycle Engineering Directorate is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability. You will be part of the Systems Engineering and Test Center, supporting products from design through validation, integration, and long-term sustainment. Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities is conducting a search for a Depot Sustainment Manager based at Raytheon’s Tucson, AZ facility. In this role, you’ll directly support the Program Sustainment Manager on Stormbreaker and will work in cross-functional teams to execute awarded delivery orders. Domestic & International travel may be required – limited durations (approximately 10% domestic and 10% international). Additional responsibilities related to overall support of the day-to-day activities for successful program execution will include:

Requirements

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
  • Experience with Depot and/or Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).
  • Active and transferrable final U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start.
  • US citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PRISM
  • Understanding of Contractor Acquired Material (CAM), Government Furnish Property and depot hardware handling and transportation requirements
  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Estimate at Completion (EAC), and/or budget and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Proposals/Estimating and/or Basis of Estimates (BOEs) experience
  • Experience with Cost Reduction Strategy and Constraints Management
  • Familiarity with LOKI, CABs and Microsoft Suite

Responsibilities

  • Lead and synchronize depot functions – to include receiving/induction, spares provisioning, repairs (end-item and subassembly), plant clearance, sales, and shipping
  • Oversee warranty and non-warranty repairs to completion, DD250, and delivery
  • Provide sustainment engineering support for development and legacy programs to achieve long-term product sustainment strategies and planning
  • Act as a liaison with all engineering disciplines, such as Systems; Electrical; Mechanical; Test, Materials and Processes; and Structural design functions
  • Assist with supportability analyses and provide inventory recommendations, including but not limited to spares recommendations, excess scrap, and parts and materials substitutions as necessary
  • Coordinate with Production Operation Manager to facilitate factory hardware repair work
  • Engagement in peer reviews, program reviews, design reviews, failure review boards, investigation teams, warranty and non-warranty claims and working groups
  • Manage shipping and repair activity for production, depot, and other off nominal contracts, brief weekly status to the Program Office
