The Depot Repair Technician I is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electronic equipment at a designated repair facility. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and testing equipment to ensure proper functionality. The Depot Repair Technician I may also be responsible for documenting repair processes, maintaining repair records, and communicating with customers regarding repair status. This position typically requires a strong technical background and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Document incoming and outgoing machines using software applications such as Oracle, Tulip and Microsoft® Office. Inspect incoming machines for necessary repairs, upgrades, or damage. Repair machines by replacing or repairing circuit boards, mechanical sub-assemblies, and discrete components. Refurbish machines by replacing worn components and cleaning exterior covers. Perform final testing of repaired or refurbished machines. Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts. Meet key performance indicators, goals, and objectives. Support the department’s Operational Excellence journey by finding new and effective ways of working, deploying lean initiatives, and supporting related Continuous Improvement projects. Comply with all ISO 14001 requirements. Comply with internal environmental management system requirements, as applicable. Accepts overtime and weekend work as necessary. The working hours are Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts with flexible starting time from 5am-11am.
