About The Position

HawaiiUSA FCU is seeking a dedicated Deposit Servicing Representative to join our team.  This role involves servicing Share, Draft, Certificate, and IRA accounts post-opening, supporting both internal and external members across multiple channels.  The ideal candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to enhancing the efficiency of deposit servicing duties.

Requirements

  • Two years demonstrated high performance in a financial organization with emphasis on operations and High School diploma or GED with business related courses beneficial; or a BA degree preferably in Business with an emphasis in Finance, Economics, Marketing, or Accounting.
  • Two to four years of related experience, preferably with an emphasis on financial services operations.
  • Professional etiquette and customer service.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Independent, team-oriented, and organized.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Goal-oriented and adaptable.
  • Prolonged desk sitting and computer use.
  • Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, and turning.
  • Occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds.
  • Saturday availability required.
  • Availability required Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturdays 8 AM to 1:30 PM

Responsibilities

  • Process checks, drafts, charge backs, and tax levies.
  • Handle IRA RMD transactions and support.
  • File legal documents for garnishments.
  • Manage account maintenance and incoming mail.
  • Support trust account openings and check/share adjustments.
  • Prepare charge-offs and review branch forms.
  • Maintain document imaging and support Deposit Servicing functions.
  • Meet daily deadlines and resolve Helpdesk issues.
  • Assist with ledger reconciliations and cross-train for back-office tasks.
  • Update procedures, generate reports, and process Escheat Accounts.
  • Suggest workflow improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
