As a Deposit Services Specialist, you’ll be a vital part of our Operations team—managing deposit account maintenance, supporting customer needs, and ensuring our systems and records are accurate and compliant. From processing NSF/OD transactions to reconciling key accounts, your ability to stay organized and focused will keep our deposit operations precise and efficient every single day.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in banking operations or a related financial services role.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional business or technical training is a plus.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks while staying calm and detail-focused under deadlines.
  • Proficiency with data entry and account systems (experience with DNA or similar systems preferred).
  • Clear, professional communication skills—you’re approachable and thorough when answering questions from internal teams or customers.
  • Problem-solving mindset—you’re resourceful, accurate, and comfortable working with numbers, reports, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update customer deposit accounts by performing accurate data entry and account maintenance in the core system (e.g., DNA), including product changes, overdraft protection, refunds, and account adjustments.
  • Process daily NSF/OD activity and assist with exception handling to ensure timely, accurate posting and compliance with Bank policies.
  • Balance and reconcile deposit-related accounts such as money orders, cashier’s checks, CDs, and club accounts; research discrepancies and make correcting entries as needed.
  • Support ATM and debit card processing by handling applications, maintenance, adjustments, and daily reporting through the ATM processing platform.
  • Respond to customer and employee inquiries regarding deposit accounts, documentation, and processing issues, ensuring clear communication, timely resolution, and proper record retention.
