Deposit Operations Specialist
About The Position
Headquartered in Lewiston, Maine, Dirigo Federal Credit Union is a profitable and fast-growing community credit union with five branch locations. We’re excited to welcome team members who share our passion for helping people achieve financial well-being. We’re seeking qualified applicants for our open Deposit Operations Specialist position. This role supports our credit union and its members by processing ACH and wire transfers, completing deposit-related reports, and ensuring all operational activities follow established procedures and compliance standards. This role collaborates with multiple departments, assists staff and members with account-related needs, and helps resolve issues with accuracy and professionalism. The individual stepping into this role will also be the lead for our courtesy pay program.
Requirements

- Professional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals across the credit union and external partners
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with digital banking systems is a plus
- Prior experience in deposit operations or financial services preferred
Responsibilities
- Process ACH and wire payments accurately and in accordance with compliance requirements
- Research and resolve member and account issues within assigned authority and escalate when needed
- Prepare and maintain required credit union and member records and reports
- Monitor our member privilege program, including member communications and account updates
- Provide support for digital banking channels including mobile deposit and bill pay, and to eBranch staff during high call volume periods
