Your primary responsibilities will be to lead IRA account management, supporting our member experience teams. The Details: Location: Lacey, WA Pay Range: The range for the Deposit Operations Specialist is $24.87 to $37.31 per hour with a target range of $24.87-$31.09 per hour, depending on relevant experience and qualifications. Requirements

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have at least two years of customer service experience in financial services.
  • Must be able to pass a background and credit check.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills to provide clear, effective solutions.
  • Ability to navigate financial systems, including digital banking tools.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, adjusts to evolving policies and independently resolves complex issues.
  • Uphold ethical standards and safeguards sensitive financial and personal data.
  • Work independently while contributing to a supportive team culture with reliability and professionalism.
  • Understand financial regulations, industry standards, and credit union policies.

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year of payment services experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the IRA portfolio by working with our vendor and supporting team members in the delivery of IRA products, accounts, transactions, required minimum distribution payments and tax form delivery.
  • Process account research and record requests, including member verifications of deposit, asset verification system and Social Security requests.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline high-volume or labor-intensive processes, recommending improvements for efficiency
  • Provide back up support as needed for ACH, draft and wire processing including exceptions and balancing.
  • Provide exceptional member service through various channels, including phone, email, and electronic platforms.
  • Safeguard member information and credit union data by ensuring confidentiality and security.
  • Educate members on account management, products or services, payment or card features, benefits, and security practices to enhance their financial well-being.
  • Ensure compliance with security, audit, regulatory, and privacy policies, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
