About The Position

Axos Bank is seeking an individual within Deposit Operations, responsible for assisting with the reconciliation of Bank accounts and general ledgers as it pertains to day to day operations.

Requirements

• 2+ years’ banking experience in a retail or operational environment
• Knowledge in banking products and services
• Knowledge in banking regulation and compliance but not limited to the following: Regulation CC, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), USA PATRIOT Act, Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
• Proficiency on Microsoft applications ( Excel, Word

Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank accounts and general ledgers according to set guidelines.
• Review and validation of all appropriate debit and credit adjustments and or cross entries.
• Troubleshoot problem situations and work with other teams and departments to resolve promptly.
• Research, identify, follow up and resolve any outages or discrepancies
• Coordinate any certification or audits to ensure all deliverables are met by designated due dates.
• Ensure all data is analyzed and findings are communicated to appropriate parties.
• Monitors potential operational loss areas, analyzes operational losses and fraudulent activity.
• Reviews and monitors the processing of dispute claims to ensure adherence to Reg E and Visa No Liability timelines.
• Monitor and arrange for recovery of chargeback cases incurred by fraudulent activities.
• Communicate via phone, email and/ or letters with other bank employees, account holders, and financial institutions.
• Place or review Regulation CC holds to reduce the exposure of risk to the bank while adhering to compliant hold times.
• Onboard new Treasury customers / accounts, process outgoing wire and funds transfers.
• Verifies adherence to Bank policies, operating procedures and processes.
