About The Position

Under limited direction, you are responsible for completing day to day operational processes in an accurate & timely manner. You provide direct, high quality, timely support to customers & internal department personnel. You make recommendations for improving banking functions & creating an AMAZING client experience!

  • You have a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • You have an AAP Certification; Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school OR
  • You have two to five years related experience &/or training OR
  • You have the equivalent combination of education & experience.
  • You have the ability to calculate figures & amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, & percentages
  • You must have expertise in the use of Microsoft Office Products & an aptitude for learning various programs & software.
  • You have the skills needed in a typical office environment, including computer skills & utilization of office equipment.
  • While performing the duties of this job, you are regularly required to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, attend meetings, etc. You have the ability to operate a computer, carry, handle & feel objects; reach with hands & arms; communicate effectively & efficiently in person & over the phone. You must occasionally lift &/or move up to 25 pounds or more with assistance. You have the ability to travel to other locations as needed. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception & the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Complete system report verifications & related procedures.
  • Complete tasks as assigned to support the deposit operations day to day functions; including various types of account and system maintenance.
  • Create & maintain written procedures & instructions for all functions.
  • Prepare reports as requested by management.
  • Provide recommendations, documentation & implementation of new & revised procedures for efficient operations.
  • Assist in implementation & testing of new products, services or processes.
  • Process legal requests to obtain account information according to regulatory guidelines.
  • Assist with commercial Pro Biz product customer support & product setup.
  • Create & report or transmit data files to appropriate reporting agencies.
  • Assist with year-end processes
  • Gather & prepare daily mail; deliver to post office as requested.
  • Learn and function as a backup for various tasks as assigned and ensure you have 2 fully trained backups for all areas of your responsibility.
  • Escalate product or services issues to Supervisor if you are unable to solve the issue successfully.
  • Familiarize yourself and follow all policies, procedures and instructions to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Learn your assigned duties and complete all tasks efficiently, accurately and independently; ask for help when needed.
  • Provide customer support by telephone, and various electronic banking channels with deposit related products.
  • Assist customers with access to electronic banking services and troubleshoot as needed.
  • Recommend products &/or services based on customer needs.
  • Achieve referral results based on annual target communicated by supervisor
  • Comply with organization policies, systems, processes & procedures with a strong commitment to the overall direction & focus of the organization.
  • As a part of the overall team of bank employees, you may be requested to assist in the support of other bank activities.
