About The Position

Wondries Toyota is a fast-paced, high-volume automotive dealership committed to accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Automotive Deposit Clerk to join our accounting team.

The Automotive Deposit Clerk is responsible for accurately processing and reconciling all dealership deposits, ensuring proper documentation, and supporting daily accounting operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial accuracy across multiple departments.

Requirements

• Previous dealership accounting experience preferred
• Experience with CDK or similar DMS system is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Basic accounting knowledge and data entry skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post daily deposits (cash, checks, credit card transactions)
• Reconcile deposit schedules with dealership systems (CDK experience preferred)
• Verify and balance receipts from Sales, Service, and Parts departments
• Research and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Maintain organized records of all deposit transactions
• Assist with month-end closing processes as needed
• Communicate with management and staff regarding deposit issues
