About The Position

Responsible for the execution and delivery of deposit balance and rate strategy and the support of liquidity products and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, Business, Finance or related field
  • Strong knowledge of banking, interest rate environment, and money markets
  • 5 years of related work experience
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work well in fast-paced, team-oriented environment and ability to adapt
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products

Nice To Haves

  • MBA/CTP
  • Experience with SQL, Tableau, Alteryx

Responsibilities

  • Execute and support comprehensive data driven deposit strategy to manage Wholesale Banking deposits across all Liquidity products
  • Define an effective data driven deposit strategy by understanding the firm’s appetite for deposits, NII targets, balance sheet positioning, market context, and other external factors
  • Conduct portfolio optimization reviews across liquidity products
  • Partner with sales, finance and liquidity partners to develop accurate forecasts of deposit balances and rate paid
  • Develop and track results vs forecasts
  • Partner with liquidity and sales partners to communicate deposit strategy
  • Analyze competitive earnings and market offerings to provide insights to leadership regarding Truist’s competitive position
  • Adhere to and follow all applicable policies and procedures. Proactively escalate issues and risks to leadership's attention
