Deployment Strategist
You will step directly into the operating environments of the businesses we acquire and begin thinking and acting like a founder from day one. You will learn how the business really works, identify the biggest opportunities for change, and design the systems, workflows, and AI tooling that will redefine how the company operates. It’s a hands-on, high-ownership role where the mandate is simple: build better companies with applied AI.
As Sequence grows, this role expands into shaping how entire verticals should operate on Sequence’s technology platform. You will help design new operating models for whole industries and build the early versions of the technology and processes that support them.

Requirements

• Holds a degree in a technical or quantitative discipline
• At least 2 years of professional experience in technical, product, investing, or operational roles
• Ability to understand business problems and translate them into structured technical requirements
• Comfortable reasoning about data and code and working closely with engineers
• Experience building or shaping products, tools, or workflows from 0 to 1
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ambition to own and transform real-world systems

Responsibilities

• Build a deep understanding of how a business creates value and where the biggest opportunities are
• Map workflows, surface constraints, and identify high-impact redesign opportunities
• Translate business and operational insights into clear product and technical requirements
• Work with engineers to launch AI agents, workflow tools, and automation built on Sequence’s platform
• Drive rollout, iteration, and adoption while owning measurable outcomes in key workflows
• Understand the customer landscape and deftly navigate the organization to achieve business transformation
• Use sharp strategic thinking to build enduring companies and differentiated technologies
