About The Position

Deployment Manager The Opportunity: In this role, you will support a program office by overseeing multiple capital infrastructure design and construction projects across the client’s network. You will support the mission of a program office with the planning, acquisition, and implementation of projects, including planning requirements, design, and funding, and implementing design and construction execution. To be successful, you’ll be comfortable with managing data sets and data entry within SharePoint and Microsoft Project. You will utilize Power BI to summarize and communicate status and trends with the program office and external stakeholders. Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience with construction project management
  • Experience with managing infrastructure design or construction projects in a government healthcare or research environment
  • Experience tracking costs, schedule, and performance progress
  • Experience leading or supporting senior leadership presentations, data calls, and interagency collaboration
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks, including with infrastructure space, power, HVAC, elevator systems, and fire code
  • Ability to act as a liaison to positively influence stakeholder performance, articulate agency and program guidance or requirements, and monitor best practices for cost and schedule
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with lifecycle and project management methodologies
  • Experience using Microsoft Office software
  • Experience in the VA
  • Experience with government acquisition and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs)
  • Experience in executing project management and oversight of physical infrastructure build-outs associated with capital infrastructure and IT projects
  • Experience with supporting projects in electrical, mechanical, and IT infrastructure, including power, HVAC, cabling, and fiber
  • Experience with managing and maintaining project milestones and statuses for a large portfolio of dispersed projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science, Systems, or Business
  • Project Management Certification, such as PMP, CCM, CHFM, Lean Six Sigma, or Agile Certification
