About The Position

A New Orleans–based, non-profit health system is seeking support for a large-scale thin client deployment across multiple hospital and clinic locations. The project involves replacing approximately 3,300 legacy devices with new thin clients over a 10‑week period. A technical team will be assembled to manage and execute the deployment. This includes four deployment technicians and one team lead. The team will work on-site during normal business hours in active clinical environments, so professionalism, discretion, and respect for patient spaces are essential. Deployment Technician Responsibilities Decommission legacy devices Unbox, verify imaging/configuration, and install new thin clients Perform cable management and confirm proper connectivity Document all completed deployments Follow scripted procedures and work independently Maintain professionalism in patient care areas Each device installation is estimated to take about 20 minutes. Team Lead Responsibilities Oversee the deployment team Coordinate daily activities with internal management and the engagement manager Ensure smooth communication, scheduling, and task execution Maintain high standards of professionalism in clinical settings Requirements Experience with hardware deployments (healthcare experience preferred) Familiarity with imaging processes and basic networking Ability to work independently and follow structured procedures Comfort working in patient care environments with high reverence Strong attention to detail and professionalism Availability during standard business hours
