Coordinate and oversee the work of maintenance technicians, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met. Identify and suggest improvements in equipment reliability, maintenance procedures, and cost control using lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and root cause analysis. Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to diagnose issues such as malfunctioning pumps, motors, PLCs, sensors, or control systems. Analyze root causes of recurring equipment failures and provide recommendations for corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. Respond promptly to breakdowns and perform emergency repairs as required, ensuring minimal production downtime. Execute the preventive maintenance schedule to maintain equipment functionality and avoid unexpected breakdowns. Perform corrective maintenance tasks, including parts replacements, system recalibration, and adjustments to improve system performance. Work closely with other departments (production, engineering, and quality assurance) to troubleshoot issues impacting production or product quality. Provide technical support to operators, advising on best practices for equipment handling to avoid common issues. Provide technical leadership during equipment upgrades, installations, and corporate project activities. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety standards, electrical codes, and regulations to ensure all work meets compliance requirements. Promote a culture of safety and ensure all team members follow OSHA and company safety guidelines.
