Patient Transporters transport patients throughout the hospital and deliver exceptional service to each and every patient they encounter. This dedicated team of caregivers is looking to add a Department Supervisor to their team who will ensure the transporters are helping patients get to where they need to go for the various procedures needed during their stay. In this role, you will interact with caregivers of all roles in both Martin North and Martin South Hospitals, act as a technical resource for team members, and help ensure that your team is meeting the turnaround time of under 30 minutes from the time the ticket is entered to the time it is completed. Not only will this role help you gain leadership experience through supervising 15-20 caregivers, but it can also lead to other leadership opportunities in the future and growth within the organization. A caregiver in this position works Monday-Friday from 8:00AM - 5:00PM, including rotating holidays. Martin North Hospital will be the primary work location, but floating to Martin South Hospital will be required, as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two years of experience as a work leader, team lead or project manager OR one year of supervisory experience in a related field
