About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Department Material Handler - 2nd shift to join our team located in Owatonna, Minnesota. The hours are Monday – Thursday, 3:30pm – 2:00am. In this role you are responsible for moving material within the plant and keeping designated work areas supplied with material. We Offer You! Requirements

Experience in manufacturing operations is preferred
Forklift and other material handling experience required

Responsibilities

Receive and stock finished goods.
Store materials in designated locations, ensuring they are properly organized and accessible.
Pull and package materials for delivery to various departments or workstations.
Hook and unhook carts with hitch system.
Scan finished goods and raw materials with RF scanner, verifying all information.
Participate in quality control checks and ensure materials meet the required specifications.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed.
