About The Position

As a Department Manager, you are responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations and sales of your department run smoothly, while effectively leading and engaging your team. Success in this role requires valuing teamwork and camaraderie, recognizing team contributions, and supporting team growth. Department Managers and their teams are expected to deliver outstanding customer service daily to foster long-term customer relationships. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Prior experience leading others
  • Willingness to obtain certifications as required
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and seek new skills & experiences
  • A history of ensuring customers have a seamless shopping experience
  • Ability to use time and resources efficiently and effectively
  • Act with integrity, pride, and passion day in and day out
  • For Bakery: 1 year or more of experience as a Baker
  • For Meat: Knowledge of and ability to process different cuts of meat, as well as previous experience working in a meat department and with various tools (grinders, saws, and other meat processing tools)
