About The Position

Cowlitz Clean Sweep (CCS) a Pacific Northern Environmental LLC division, is seeking a Department Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced, team environment and has the ability to provide exceptional service and skills to our company, clients, and employees. Pacific Northern Environmental, LLC consists of five divisions including Advanced Electrical Technologies (AET), Taurus Power and Controls (Taurus), Cowlitz Clean Sweep (CCS), Pacific Northern Environmental Construction (PNEC), and WasteXpress Environmental (WXE). Together, we specialize in commercial and petroleum construction, industrial and commercial electrical, industrial cleaning, and hazardous waste disposal. PNE LLC is a multi-state organization with operating offices in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Hawaii. In addition, we carry out projects across the United States. CCS provides industrial cleaning and spill response to almost every pulp and paper mill in the Pacific Northwest. We also service major oil companies and a wide range of manufacturing and industrial clients. CCS has demonstrated its ability to complete large and complex industrial cleaning challenges on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with the most stringent industrial health & safety programs. No industrial cleaning job is too large or too small for CCS. The Department Coordinator is responsible for assisting the assigned department in daily, weekly, monthly office related operations of multiple CCS locations. The ideal person in this position would have high levels of accuracy and organization, ability to multi-task many things at once while prioritizing and being a team player.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License required and ability to be insured under company insurance plan.
  • 2+ years in a similar office setting.
  • Customer Service experience required.
  • Must have experience in Microsoft Office
  • Familiar with AR/AP/Payroll/Accounting principles.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to keep organized and collected, especially during time sensitive high priority tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Dispatching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting customers and clients as they walk in, providing a friendly and helpful attitude.
  • Handles all office related needs, including office supply, multi-line phone, customer service, etc.
  • Is first to answer the multi-phone line, directing callers to the appropriate party and screening calls when necessary.
  • Supports AR/AP/Payroll team by completing data entry, pre-billings, some invoicing, reconciling, helping with payroll on a weekly basis, assisting in tracking credit cards and fuel expenditure.
  • Assists dispatch as calls come in, acts as a backup in the event dispatch is not in.
  • Assists Sr. Department Coordinator in over the phone estimates, filing paperwork, tracking paperwork, and keeping organized by utilizing spreadsheets.
  • Other duties as assigned.
