Job Posting Title: Department Assistant (Dyslexia - Education) Location: Dallas - Hospital Additional Posting Details: Full Time Monday - Friday 40 hrs. per week Job Description: Responsibilities Support Education Team with all aspects of teacher/therapist training, lab school, and curriculum development and fulfillment such as: Check in/out all lab students daily Assist with parent meetings Communications to parents Organize and coordinate Dyslexia lab waiting list, parent meetings, graduations, daily schedule and reports Update, manage and collect Therapist and Teacher Training applications and registrations Prepare all required materials for Therapist and Teacher training Provide back up support for dyslexia curricula accounting, customer accounts and inventory Serve as back up to front desk Participate in department phone call rotation Supports Center for Dyslexia phone answering and customer service.

Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience with independent responsibilities required.
  • Excellent telephone, reception and public relations skills.
  • Computer skills for data collection, word processing.
  • Requires knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Power Point and Excel.

  • Bachelor degree preferred.
