As a Department Analyst III, your work as a caregiver starts in the office, where you will function as a primary resource regarding the collection of data and the analysis and evaluation of resources, services, programs, systems, budgets and procedures of Ambulatory Operations. Your dedication and efforts help bolster our Research and Data Departments, making you invaluable and integral to our ability to continue providing exceptional patient care across the world. A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00AM - 5:00PM.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration, Business or a related field and three years statistical analysis experience OR Master's Degree and two years of experience
  • Excellent analytical, communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Ambulatory experience preferred.
  • Prior data experience with Tableau highly preferred.
  • SQL experience preferred.
  • Snowflake or other data warehouse experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate operational and financial functions of administrative and operational units.
  • Analyze departmental resources, services, systems, budgets and programs and prepare reports based on results.
  • Conduct comprehensive statistical analysis and evaluation of unit services and performance.
  • Identify program or service strengths, weaknesses and financial impact.
  • Identify opportunities for service and program improvement.
  • Participate in or leads project teams to complete high level analysis or special reports.
  • Assist with the development of operational plans, procedures, and systems.
  • Review and evaluate current procedures and systems and develop recommendations for improvement or change.
  • Maintain awareness of and complies with various regulatory guidelines (JCAHO, FDA, HIPAA, OSHA, etc.).
  • Conduct briefings or presentations to keep others advised.
