About The Position

The position directs all administrative and operational activities for the Department of Neurology, fulfilling the educational, research, healthcare and quality missions in the Morsani College of Medicine, Department of Neurology. The position provides administrative management of educational programs, general operations, financial management, budget development, fiscal and administrative compliance, supervision of staff, human resource administration, recruitment, purchasing, space allocation and utilization, fiscal and administration compliance, search coordination, diversity and a key liaison for operations. The position serves as a strategic partner to the Chair, Vice Chair's, Division Directors, and other senior leadership and staff in the planning and implementation of policies, programs, and initiatives that support the primary mission areas of the department. The position is directly responsible for ensuring that administrative and operational activities are in compliance with Department, university, practice and educational policies and procedures. The position is responsible for the training and development of all direct reports and providing guidance/direction and resources to other department staff.
