Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
• Current license to practice dentistry in the State of Wisconsin.
• Knowledge of general dentistry practices, infection control, and dental radiography.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental examinations, diagnostics, and treatments including restorations, extractions, and cleanings.
• Diagnose oral conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide emergency and routine dental care following facility policies and infection control standards.
• Maintain accurate dental records and documentation in compliance with departmental procedures.
• Collaborate with medical and mental health staff to ensure coordinated inmate healthcare.
