About The Position

Join our team as a Dental Receptionist at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry Goodwill Opportunity Campus Dental Practice located at 2820 W. Broadway, Suite 200, Louisville, KY 40211. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Works with faculty, peers, and supervisors to deliver customer service oriented and patient-centered care. As the first point-of-contact with the patient, this position checks patients in daily, confirming their contact information, current insurance, and consent forms, and registering new patients when needed. Verifies insurance and details benefit coverage for patients when appropriate. Conducts financial transactions, accepts and posts payments, issues receipts, and balances cash drawer at end of day. Creates, reviews, and manages payment plans with patients. Answers the phone in a timely and professional manner, managing a multi-line system. Schedules patient appointments as necessary. Maintains HIPAA, OSHA and Infection Control compliance at all times. Other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and one or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and work experience.
  • HIPAA compliance
  • OSHA compliance
  • Infection Control compliance
