About The Position

Dental Receptionist

Our dental practice is committed to providing compassionate, high quality care in a welcoming and supportive environment. We take pride in delivering an exceptional experience for every patient we serve.
We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, creating a positive first impression while supporting the day to day operations of the practice. Your ability to communicate effectively, stay organized, and provide excellent customer service will play a key role in ensuring a seamless and positive patient experience.
Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Thursday 8am-4pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of dental front office experience

Nice To Haves

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Experience with dental practice management software
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment
• Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
• Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
• Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed
• Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
