About The Position

Dental Specialty Center of Kendall has an immediate opening for a full-time Dental Receptionist for our office located in Miami, FL. The dental receptionist we hire must have prior dental office experience to be considered. We are looking for candidates that have experience with: answering phones, maintaining schedules, and managing patient files just to name a few! Must also have exceptional customer service skills; strong communication skills; and the abilities to multi-task, prioritize and follow up to ensure best practices. Bilingual (english & spanish) is a plus! This position offers PTO and a full benefit package. The hours are Mon-Fri 8:00-5:00. Position Overview: This position is perfect for someone with a passion for providing outstanding customer service, a willingness to learn, and desired to get started in the dental field. environment. The person will be a support person to all the staff members and patients in his/her office. They will answer phones, handle patient inquiries, make appointments, and assist with the completion of the patient's treatment plans through acceptable financial arrangements while being flexible in handling requests and projects assigned by other staff and/or the Office Manager. Requirements

  • Experience working in a dental health-care office
  • Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO)
  • Experience answering telephone
  • Must have exceptional customer service skills

Responsibilities

  • Customer Service; acknowledge, smile and greet patients upon arrival/dismissal
  • Respond to patient questions and or concerns according to DCA Policies
  • Answering Telephones
  • Scheduling Appointments
  • Maintaining Appointment Book
  • Confirming Appointments
  • Follow up on no shows/cancellation of Appointments
  • Register Patients on sign in sheet
  • Post charges and payments to patient accounts
  • Checking voicemail on a daily basis
  • Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients
