This position also requires presenting treatment plan estimates, making financial arrangements, and processing financial contracts. The representative is responsible for identifying and resolving patient grievances, following up on unpaid accounts, and staying updated on MediCal coverage changes for dental services. Additional duties include creating and organizing new patient records, assisting with forms, sorting correspondence, and maintaining patient privacy in compliance with HIPAA regulations. The representative also assists with record releases, manages office supplies, and participates in departmental meetings and educational programs.
