A day in the life of a Dental/Medical Receptionist at HealthSource of Ohio:

Register new and established patients and verify insurance eligibility
Obtain dental benefit breakdown as needed
Update all medical records as needed.  This may include consent forms, update databases, insurance information, etc
Responsible for obtaining and verifying paperwork required by patients
Collect patient payments
Schedule appointments 
Answer telephones 
Sort and distribute center mail. Import faxes into Next Gen and route accordingly
Demonstrate understanding of HIPAA and age-related rights and responsibilities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1-year of relevant experience preferred
