Job Summary:

The Dental Lead will serve as the primary leader for clinical support staff, acting as a bridge between providers, regional clinic managers, and the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Graduation from a dental assisting program, preferred.
• Two years experience, preferred.
• Education can be substituted for lack of experience.
• Prefer basic skills certification and expanded functions.
• Current BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support dental assistants, hygienists, and clinical support staff
• Oversee daily clinical operation and workflow efficiency
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and infection control
• Coordinate staff scheduling, coverage, and quarterly reviews for assistants
• Lead new hire training and ongoing staff development
• Address staff concerns, resolve conflicts, and promote teamwork
• Monitor supplies, inventory, and equipment readiness
• Support patient experience initiatives and service standards
