Dental - Insurance Specialist

The Dental Insurance Specialist is a key support role within the revenue and billing team, assisting with daily administrative and insurance-related functions. This position is crucial for ensuring accurate insurance processing, timely communication, and efficient workflow within the department. CorroHealth focuses on automating key clinical aspects of the revenue cycle, particularly in capturing and applying clinical documentation, to ease the burden on physicians and support client program operations. They offer expert teams to outsource portions of the revenue cycle, complement client programs, or upskill existing client teams.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Dentrix and eCentral claims systems
- Proven understanding of dental insurance verification processes
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a healthcare office
- High attention to detail with strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while exercising sound judgment and professionalism
- Creative, adaptable, and a proactive team-oriented contributor
Nice To Haves
- Dental office experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Verify patient dental insurance coverage and benefits
- Audit patient accounts as requested to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Manage and respond to client communications via email and fax
- Prepare and review dental insurance treatment estimates
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor
