About The Position
We are hiring a Dental Hygienist to join our dental office in Bucoda, WA. This is a full-time position for someone who enjoys working closely with patients, staying organized throughout the day, and being part of a smaller clinical team. The office uses Dentrix, and you will work alongside 1 Dentist, 1 Hygienist, and 2 Dental Assistants. Daily responsibilities include preventive care, x-rays, charting, and helping patients understand how to maintain better oral health between visits.
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in Dental Hygiene
- Active Washington Dental Hygienist license
- Ability to take radiographs in line with state requirements
- Dentrix experience preferred
- Previous dental office experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform routine dental cleanings and hygiene treatments
- Take dental x-rays as needed
- Review and update patient health histories
- Chart patient care and clinical notes in Dentrix
- Watch for signs of gum disease, decay, and other oral health concerns
- Educate patients on brushing, flossing, and home care
- Work with the dental team to keep the schedule moving smoothly
