About The Position
Our Centralia dental office is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to support preventive care and help patients stay on top of their oral health. In this position, you will handle hygiene appointments, take x-rays, chart in Dentrix, and provide practical patient education. You will be joining a smaller office with 1 Dentist, 1 Hygienist, and 2 Dental Assistants, where teamwork, reliability, and clear communication matter day to day.
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in Dental Hygiene
- Active Washington Dental Hygienist license
- Current CPR certification
Nice To Haves
- Experience using Dentrix preferred
- Previous dental office experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Complete dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance visits
- Take and document radiographs
- Update patient records and treatment details in Dentrix
- Review medical histories before appointments
- Monitor for gum disease, plaque buildup, and other concerns
- Explain oral hygiene instructions in a clear and helpful way
