About The Position
We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to support preventive care, patient education, and clinical efficiency in a busy dental office. In this role, you will provide cleanings, assess oral health, capture x-rays, and help patients understand how to maintain healthy teeth and gums. Your work will play an important part in both patient care and the daily rhythm of the practice.
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Active Washington Dental Hygienist license
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to take dental radiographs in accordance with state requirements
- Previous experience in a dental office preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting
Responsibilities
- Complete prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance appointments
- Assess oral health and identify areas that need further evaluation
- Capture x-rays and maintain clear patient records
- Review medical histories and note changes before treatment
- Explain oral hygiene techniques and preventive care recommendations
- Assist with treatment planning by reporting findings to the dentist
- Apply preventive agents such as fluoride and sealants
