About The Position
We are hiring a Dental Hygienist to join a structured dental team of 1 Dentist, 1 Hygienist, and 2 Dental Assistants. The practice uses Dentrix for all charting and documentation. In this role, you will handle hygiene procedures, patient education, x-rays, and clinical documentation while helping maintain a smooth daily workflow.
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Active Washington Dental Hygienist license
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to take dental radiographs in accordance with state requirements
- Previous experience in a dental office preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting
Responsibilities
- Deliver routine hygiene care and deep cleanings as appropriate
- Monitor and document gum health, plaque buildup, and oral conditions
- Take digital x-rays and assist with diagnostic support
- Update charts and maintain accurate treatment documentation
- Share clear home care instructions with patients of all ages
- Prepare patients for exams and assist the dentist with clinical communication
- Maintain sterilization and infection control standards
