About The Position
We are hiring a Dental Hygienist to provide preventive dental care and support daily operations in a well-structured dental office using Dentrix. You will be working alongside 1 Dentist, 1 Hygienist, and 2 Dental Assistants, handling cleanings, screenings, x-rays, charting, and patient education. This role plays a direct part in keeping patient care organized, efficient, and consistent.
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Active Washington Dental Hygienist license
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to take dental radiographs in accordance with state requirements
- Previous experience in a dental office preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting
Responsibilities
- Perform routine dental cleanings and preventive hygiene procedures
- Take and review dental x-rays as needed
- Examine patients for signs of gum disease, tooth decay, and other oral health concerns
- Record patient histories, chart conditions, and update treatment notes
- Educate patients on brushing, flossing, and home care habits
- Apply fluoride treatments and sealants when appropriate
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical space
