Requirements

  • Licensed as a Dental Hygienist in the state of South Carolina
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
  • Current BLS/CPR certifications
  • Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
  • New grads welcome to apply OR 1 or more years of RDH clinical experience nice to have
  • Knowledgeable about perio health, comfortable with patient education, and competent with gum therapy
  • Experience with dental practice software, Dentrix preferred
  • Seeking a new team collaborator that is open, positive and flexible

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience
  • Screening patients and providing quality care during check-ups
  • Educating patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene care
  • Reviewing patient's history and charting
  • Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
  • Documents area of existing restorations
  • Use of X-ray
  • Support the dentist with procedures as needed
